Veterinarian
Dr. Alana Einspahr offers veterinary care for pets in Blue Springs and surrounding Kansas City areas.
Dr. Alana Einspahr grew up in Olathe, Kansas. She has loved animals for as long as she can remember and had a variety of critters growing up. One of her favorite pets growing up was her homing pigeons. Once a year from middle school through high school, she had the opportunity to bring her homing pigeons to her local elementary school as a guest educator. Her first dog was a Vizsla named Elsie, who grew up with her all the way through her last year in veterinary school. Dr. Einspahr’s love for animals and science inspired her to become a veterinarian. In high school, she gained experience by being accepted into her school district’s animal health program and working as an assistant at a local veterinary clinic.
In her senior year of high school, Dr. Alana Einspahr was accepted into the veterinary pre-acceptance program at the University of Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri for her undergraduate education and then entered the Veterinary Medical program. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2021. After graduation, Dr. Alana Einspahr desired to return to the Kansas City area. At Blue Springs Animal Hospital, she found a community that shared her value to provide quality medicine and compassionate care to patients and their families.
Dr. Alana Einspahr recently adopted a 11-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Remi. During her time off she enjoys going on hikes with Remi, serving within her church community, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.
